Shipping Policies
After placing your order, there will be a 48 business-hour standard processing time. Macchinista L.A offers free shipping on all orders over $150 to the 48 contiguous states.
Please contact us within one hour of placing your order if you need to change it or cancel it completely. Changes and cancellations are not permitted once the order has been prepared for shipping, and there will be a standard return and exchange cost in case it is approved
Exchanges
Please use the return procedure outlined below to exchange an item, then place a new order either online or over the phone for the item of your choice.
Returns for Smallware
Returns of unused smallware are accepted for up to 30 days after the product was delivered. Along with a 5% restocking fee, we will provide a return label and deduct the return shipping costs from the amount that is reimbursed. Opened or worn returns may not be accepted for credit or may be subject to a higher restocking fee. Kindly send us an email to returns@macchinista.co start the return process.
If an item is returned clearly opened or used, there could be a higher restocking fee or the item won't be eligible for a refund.
Espresso machine and grinder parts are non-returnable.
Espresso Machine and Grinder Returns
Returns are accepted up to 30 days from the date the order was delivered. Machines MUST be returned in their original packaging. Commercial machines are not returnable with no exceptions.
Machine returns will receive a 10% restocking fee, unless you are exchanging for a product of equal or greater value. Damages due to improper or incomplete packaging may be subject to a larger restocking fee. Please follow the repackaging instructions as noted below.
Please note that Open Box, Like New, Refurbished and Factory Blemished items are non-returnable.
Repackaging your Machine
When returning products, please make sure to repackage them exactly as you received them. We will provide you with instructions for draining once a return has started. Items that are returned with inadequate or incorrect packing and require cleaning or repairs may incur a damage fee equal to 20% of the original purchase price. The damage fee could be waived or lowered if the damaged return is being traded in for a product of comparable or higher value.
Initiating a Return
To initiate a return splease contact us at returns@macchinista.co. We will respond with the necessary repackaging instructions and email you a return label. You are welcome to use your own shipping service for return shipping. If you use your own shipping service, we highly recommend insuring it for the full retail value. If the item is damaged, we may not be able to credit you for the full amount.
Once we receive your return package, it will be inspected, and a refund will be issued to your card, minus any shipping, restocking, or damage fees (if any). We will notify you via email after your items are received and after we have credited your card.
Deposits
On occasion, we can "hold" machines or grinders by accepting a small deposit. If a deposit is made, the order must be picked up within two weeks of the payment being made. The order will be canceled and the deposit reimbursed less a credit card processing fee if it is not picked up within the allotted two weeks. Please email us at info@macchinista.co to request a hold.
